Gary heads up GB Training & Consulting, a company he started after an extensive career with ‘The World’s Favourite Airline’, British Airways. Gary believes strongly that effective people development is inextricably linked to the achievement of business success.
Gary is primarily responsible for business development and client management across both the public and private sector. He frequently takes a hands-on role with many projects and his key areas of expertise are the design, development and delivery of people development solutions across a range of subjects including leadership, change management, team working, sales & customer service. His career at British Airways exposed him to all of these areas, in both front line management positions and in sales and customer service training roles.
Gary is an experienced and accomplished trainer and facilitator with a relaxed, yet business focused style that consistently gets great reviews and feedback from delegates and clients alike.
Belinda began her career in customer service within organisations such as IBM and British Telecom. She moved into a customer service role for British Airways, working in the hectic service environment of Heathrow Airport. Wanting to share her experience and knowledge, Belinda worked in Customer Service Training for British Airways, developing and delivering training programmes both in the UK and overseas.
Since becoming an independent development and training consultant, Belinda has been working with, among others, the Institute of Customer Service. This is an independent body that aims to recognise customer service as a profession, something Belinda believes in passionately. Belinda enjoys sharing her enthusiasm with others, and has a proven track record in developing individual and organisational capability.
As a Principal Associate of GB Training & Consulting, Belinda works across, and frequently leads, many of our projects in the public and private sector.
Jacqui has extensive experience in sales and customer service, in addition to training and development.
In her previous career, she led a team of training and development professionals to deliver and evolve sales programmes to meet the needs of the organisation and customers, ensuring they were in a position to make informed choices and decisions around their personal and organisational development needs.
She has a broad experience of sales – from telephone sales to global account management – and is passionate about sharing her real life experiences of the job to manage and lead the research, design, development, delivery and evaluation of training and development.
As a Principal Associate of GB Training & Consulting, Jacqui has most recently worked on the design and delivery of sales training workshops, sales force automation system training, negotiation and presentation skills, as well as writing a sales manual and 1:1 coaching.
Vicky has spent the last 12 years working in the field of Training & Development both in the UK & overseas. With a background primarily in customer services within an operational environment, Vicky became an overseas training manager with clients in Australasia, Germany, Scandinavia and Mediterranean Europe.
To broaden her background, Vicky worked for an independent training consultancy specialising in the financial sector before moving to a Further Education College as Training Manager.
Since becoming an independent development & training consultant, Vicky has worked across a broad range of organisations including the public, private and charitable sectors. As a Key Associate of GB Training & Consulting, Vicky has most recently worked on customer service projects with Highbury Direct Fulfilment and Johnson Diversey.
Anne-Marie has wide-ranging experience in the training, development and consultancy field, spanning a variety of sectors both in the UK and overseas.
She has most recently been involved in the design and delivery of large scale leadership and customer service training programmes, one to one coaching for middle and senior managers, and core behavioural training programmes across an extensive client base.
With a keen interest in NLP and Coaching, Anne-Marie’s background in the Sales and Customer Service field ensures a practical, passionate and down-to-earth approach that delivers exceptional results for our clients
Linda & Mike are our Associates based in Sydney, Australia.
Their own company, G T Human Resource Development, operates with the same set of values, work ethics and commitment to learning as do those of us based in the UK. Their presence in the Asia Pacific region enables us to work with clients with truly global requirements.

John has 18 years’ experience in the BBC as a Newsreader, Announcer, Network Director and Client Manager.
John was responsible for running BBC Television’s output on 9/11, from the first moments and took the decision to break into the schedule and put the news on BBC ONE, through the hours that followed. John now uses his experiences on this day as a case study and works with organisations to develop leadership, effective communication and crisis management skills. He also lectures at Universities on “Breaking News in Network Television.”
John is interested in individual and organisational change and has designed and facilitated both large and small Communication Workshops, Management Awaydays, Client and Editorial Awareness Training and Focus Groups looking at Stress in the Workplace.
He gained the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music (LRAM) in drama performance and believes passionately in using drama and movement ….and fun in the classroom, as well as in facilitating and brainstorming with groups.
Jan is an experienced management and training consultant who has 10 years consultancy experience of training, facilitating and coaching leaders and their teams to deliver peak performance.
She has a Diploma in Human Resource Management, is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and a Fellow of the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management. Jan is a commercially astute, delivery focused professional with experience of implementing and driving sustainable behaviour change. She has a wealth of experience in the design and delivery of training programmes such as performance management, selling skills, presentation skills and coaching skills.
Her consultancy and training skills are supported by 16 years experience in front-line senior Sales and People Management roles. Jan has a rare combination of both experience and expertise in training and people development consultancy.
